Our mornings are getting later, we're definitely moving into the life style of a local, last night there were loads of small children still out playing and running about past 10.30. I guess in this heat there aren't many hours of the day where its comfortable to play out.
Due to the lazy morning and the fact we can check in to our campsite from 12 there's no actual time for the kids to play on the park we found last night which they aren't too pleased about until we show them the pictures of the parks where we're going then they get excited. We've got to stop off for a top up of supplies and along the route on an overhead gantry we see a sign in English that reads 'Don't trust strangers. Highway robberies!'
OMG how often is that taking place in order for them to actually have warning messages ðŸ˜
The campsite is a lovely change from our sleeping spots we've had so far and the kids will love the chance to play in the pool and maybe even make some friends.
After we'd had some lunch I promised the kids we'd get straight in the pool as its still so hot. We walked over to check it out as it sounded quiet and found the whole thing was closed for it's own siesta, wow never known a pool to close between 2-4.
Luckily the kids are happy to play in the park instead and seems all the other kids are joining in the siesta as we're the only ones there.
When we return Al has done the clothes washing and is very pleased that he's made two washing lines from the paracord he insisted on packing because it can always come in handy 😂
Bang on 4pm we're waiting for them to open the gates, there's not even a queue waiting.
Within 20 minutes the place is full and once again it's easy to spot mine with all their sun protective clothing.
At 5.30 the kids club opens and today it's pool games, Robert is so keen to join in so I was very proud when I told him to go tell the lady 'soy ingles' to see if he'd be able to understand enough to join in and luckily she was able to explain what they were going to be playing in English and within a few minutes he was seemingly chatting away to someone.
Liliya was pleased to have the other parent all to herself and was happy practising her gymnastics in the water whilst the other parent got to enjoy some reading time.
We ended up staying until the pool closed at 8 and they would have stayed longer if they could. Al started the cooking and the kids enjoyed some drawing whilst waiting.
We're very close to the pool which is great but the downside is that's next to the bar and at 10pm every night a band plays which isn't going to help with us getting the kids to go to sleep so we decide not to even bother trying.
The campsite is only a 5 minute walk from the beach so we decide to take a nighttime stroll.
Within seconds the kids are already in the sea splashing about then building dams in the sand.
We give them the option of leaving and going to see the band or staying and playing, they choose the latter.
