When we return to the van thankfully the new covered area of the parking has helped with the heat inside and we've also brought fans which mean a combination of exhaustion and semi cooling means everyone falls asleep pretty quickly. There's no early starts though and by the time we're all restocked it's still 10.15am once we're in the park. We did have to have a quick wash for Liliya as within 1 minute of leaving the moho she'd touched the handrails on the travelators and was filthy.

The plan is to go straight to the princess pavilion but within 2 minutes Robert really wants a shoulder buddy (toy attached by a magnet under the t-shirt), despite the fact we'd previously said no trips to the gift shop that quickly went out of the window when Al suggested Robert could spend his own pocket money but as Liliya doesn't yet get any we ended up just buying them 🤑

No more distractions I'm heavily invested in seeing these princesses now! Oh but Mary Poppins is having a dance so let's just see this 😂

Once there thank goodness our ticket works, we're let into the building and what's awaiting us, yes of course another queue. Another 20 minutes go by and we're finally there, we get to meet Tiana, probably in the same league as Milan or Merida, certainly not Snow white, Rapunzel or Cinderella. I'm not sure the kids immediately recognise who she is so thankfully she makes an introduction and the kids enjoy themselves so it was worth the hassle.

Whilst we're over here Robert really wants to go in the Queen of hearts maze then we need another show to chill from this heat so we walk over to Hollywood studios just at the right time for lunch in the queue for the Mickey the magician show.

Definitely worth seeing this has Elsa, Belle, the Genie and other classic characters singing and dancing with Mickey.

As we're walking to our first actual ride of the day we luck out with an almost empty queue to have a magic picture with hulk.

The Avengers assemble ride has the next quickest queue and although we don't know what to expect we just bundle in. Turns out it's very similar ride to hyperspace mountain so we have the choice of blagging it with Liliya who wasn't a fan the last time or ensuring she was prepared, we opted for the latter and although she was apprehensive she decided she'd go for it. The verdict she wasn't happy but no tears so I'm calling that a result.

Our queue time to meet spider man is ready by the time we're off the ride and he's definitely my favourite character so far. Very chatty and engaging and the kids really enjoyed pulling poses.

Time for one more ride before a show so it's off on Slinky dog, everyone except Al enjoys that since we're all falling in to him which the kids of course find hilarious.

Unfortunately the Alice show is cancelled due to the heat and so we decide to visit the Animation studios where we can all learn how to draw (heaven for my budding artists). We get the last 4 tickets of the day and whilst we have a 45 minute wait in the lovely air conditioned space where we can also sit down we are given glitter tattoos and the kids get to practice their drawing following along with the group ahead of us. The previous group drew Donald duck and we're talked through how to draw Goofy step by step and everyone does really well.

Feeling a little rested it's time for more rides so it's the magic carpet ride, Four wheels rally then the Ratatouille ride. That's got a 40 minute wait or 10 minute single rider line but we decide to just go for the long queue to be together (also gives me some time to finishing writing yesterdays blog). That's a hit and now we've got to decide if we power through or stop for food. There's a creperie next door to the ride exit so decide that's a good compromise and we can eat those whilst queuing for RC racers.

I've got to say it's so nice being able to experience all the rides together and as this is done Liliya protests that she did not enjoy that only to change her tune within seconds and says that and hyper space mountain are her favourites. There's an hour left in the park so next on our list is the Hollywood tower of terror, Liliya is excited as she said the last ride gave her tummy tingles and she quite likes that.

It's a huge success and there's just 5 mins left in this park. We decide to chance it with the avengers assemble ride and we just made it through for the last ride of the day. As we've got the photo pass we decide to all pull a funny face for the photo, Liliya bless her wasn't sure when the photo was being taken so she's just having fun.

The kids have been dying to go on big thunder mountain back in the other park but the queue is always long and so we'd said we'd go whilst the fireworks were on. There's only one ride Liliya can't do which is the Indiana Jones ride so Robert and I head over while Al gets some extra food. It's a full loop the loop ride and lucky boy gets to do it twice as I get a parent swap for Al. Finally the ride we've all been waiting for big thunder mountain, everyone loves it and it's definitely on our list again for tomorrow. The fireworks have just started so we make our way back to avoid the crowds. Everyone agrees it's another fantastic day ❤️
